New SUB Project Design Cube
In April 2008, UBC students approved the construction of a new Student Union Building through an AMS-run campus-wide referendum. In June of this year, the AMS announced that HBBH+BH is the architect firm for the New SUB Project. To ensure students are engaged in the process, the AMS and HBBH+BH will be running workshops and charettes on various topics. Be sure to check out the design cube (working office) in the south alcove of the SUB opening on Fri., Sept. 10th. The design cube will act as a transparent base of operations and conversation during the crucial early design stages. It will be open Monday to Friday until the end of April 2011.
