Thrive with SASC
The following workshops are brought to you by the AMS Sexual Assault Support Centre.
Check our fun and interactive workshop on re-thinking the concept of consent when it comes to sexual encounters. ‘No Means No’ is one way to think of it, but ‘Yes Means Yes!’ is a new way to assert your boundaries and ensure every sexual encounter is a safe and fun.
1. Workshop on Re-Thinking Consent on Tuesday, October 18th 1-2 pm in SUB 42V
2. Workshop on Re-Thinking Consent on Friday, October 21st 2-3 pm in SUB 42V
The Clothesline Project started in the US a few years ago, and has taken off ever since around the world. It is an art-for-social-change project, and encourages people to write/paint/design/draw their thoughts on violence, specifically sexualized violence, then the t-shirts are hung up on a clothesline for all to see.
3. Clothesline Project Workshop Thursday, October 20th 2:30-6:30 pm in SUB 212A
All these events are free and open to anyone at UBC. All supplies and tshirts for the Clothesline Project will be provided for free.
