AMS Speakeasy is Currently Looking for Volunteers!

Are you interested in gaining valuable peer-support and crisis intervention skills? Do you want to be part of a caring, student-based, anti-oppression, peer support service? If so, AMS Speakeasy is seeking empathetic, dedicated volunteers for the 2012/2013 school year. No previous counselling experience is required and all necessary training will be provided.

Speakeasy is an AMS Service which provides information, referrals, and peer support to UBC students and community members. Our drop-in peer support center and reception desk are staffed by trained UBC student volunteers. We also conduct mental-health related outreach and awareness programs on campus throughout the year.
