AMS VP Academic Office succeeds in getting Exam Database passed by UBC Senate

Yesterday the UBC Senate passed a motion to support and encourage the development of an exam database. The database will be developed by the AMS and overlooked by the University once complete. It will be accessible to UBC students and will be a valuable resource for years to come.

The motion passed unanimously within the Senate (80+ members total) and is a great step forward in providing transparency and aid to students studying for future exams.

Faculty will be encouraged to include future exams and this is that start of a tremendous resource for UBC students by the AMS.

Congratulations to the VP Academic and University Affairs, led by VP Kiran Mahal, for championing this project through. Work to establish the database will begin this summer and we are hoping to have it ready for Sept. 2014.
