AMS Archives

Looking to find out about the history of the AMS? Are you a service or club within the AMS wondering what to do with old documents? The AMS Archives can help you.

The AMS Archives contains photos, newspapers, reports, minutes, and other documents produced by or related to the AMS.

If you would like the wording of an important council motion, need photos for a display, or want to find out the history of your club, the AMS Archivist Sheldon Goldfarb, can help you.

If you are an AMS club or service, don’t just throw out your old files (paper or electronic). Get in touch with the archivist to ask about transferring them to the AMS Archives.

If you are looking for very old documents (before 1990), you may find them in the records we have transferred to the UBC Archives (check out the list here).
