About Businesses
Through the AMS, UBC students own and operate several businesses which provide employment for more than 400 students and pay approximately $2 million in student wages. Revenues from AMS businesses help fund AMS Student Services
AMS Catering
From meetings and conferences to full service fine dining, AMS Catering is committed to making your event a success. We offer you knowledgeable and friendly staff, professional service, quality ingredients, and a very flexible menu.
AMS Outdoor BBQ
Enjoy great grilled beef and veggie burgers, ice cold pop, and potato chips on the south side of the SUB. Operating as late in the fall and early in the spring as the weather will permit.
Bernoulli’s Bagels
Bernoulli’s Bagels serves genuine Montreal-style bagels. We make them the traditional way using pure, high-quality ingredients, fresh yeast, and never add preservatives.

AMS Conferences
The Students’ Union Building offers complete conference services under one roof and is conveniently located walking distance to UBC accommodations and all University amenities and facilities.
AMS UBC Whistler Lodge
The AMS UBC Whistler Lodge is a 42 bed, dormitory style accommodation located three kilometres south of Whistler Village. The Lodge has a large communal kitchen, two lounges, a hot tub, and a sauna. UBC students receive a special discounted rate.
Blue Chip Cookies
Blue Chip serves an assortment of cookies and pastries along with your favourite coffees made from 100 per cent organic, shade-grown Fair Trade beans.
Gallery Lounge
Gallery Lounge offers a great selection of well priced draft beer and food with open mic, live music, karaoke, and DJ nights.

Pizza made daily by hand from scratch, ranging from traditional favourites to unique creations.

The Pit Burger Bar
Located inside The Pit Pub, the Burger Bar features quarter-pound patties and a different burger special everyday.

The Student Union Building offers businesses the opportunity to promote and/or sell their company services and products in the building through various opportunities.
