Outdoor BBQ

Enjoy great grilled beef and veggie burgers, ice cold pop, and potato chips on the south side of the SUB. Operating as late in the fall and early in the spring as the weather will permit.

At the south entrance to the SUB, you’ll find the AMS Outdoor BBQ. Great grilled burgers and veggie burgers, ice cold pop, and potato chips for snackin’. There are plenty of benches around for people watching, or relax atop the grassy knoll adjacent to the BBQ. For the first two weeks of school, enjoy AMS Events’ Live @ Lunch. Listen to local bands and DJs perform from noon to 2 pm

The BBQ operates as long as the weatherman permits, but we have made it as far as Hallowe’en!

• BBQ has been going for approximately 19 years
• Last year we cooked 1.5 tonnes of beef burgers
• Did you know there is a Frequent Buyer Card – ask the cashier for one, and after you have had it stamped 10 times your next burger is free!
• BBQ usually runs from third week of March for as long as the weather holds on – latest has been till middle of November when it actually started to snow during one shift.
