Check out the Google Group for the UBC Cognitive Systems Society for news on the latest club activity.

The primary purpose of the CSS is threefold:

- to promote the Cognitive Systems Program
- to provide COGS students a place to network, socialize and have fun
- to facilitate student involvement in research and opportunities at ubc and beyond

September 26th, 2008: World-renowned author Steven Pinker speaks at the UBC Conference on Integrating Sciences and the Humanities, "The Humanities and Human Nature," 6:30 PM.

September 27th, 2008: Steven Pinker gives a talk on his latest book The Stuff of Thought, Lecture Hall No. 2 in the Woodward Instructional Resources Centre, 8:15 PM.
