About Us

A Message to All Riders, Soon-To-Be Riders, and Enthusiasts:

The Motorcycling Club of UBC was officially formed as of November 25, 2003 thanks to the collaboration between several enthusiastic UBC students and riders. Up until the club's official authorization by the AMS SAC, UBC had excluded from its manifold one of the fastest growing sports/activities in the world - Motorcycling.

We are a NON-EXCLUSIVE club. You do not need to own a motorcycle or even be licensed to be eligible to join. The ONLY requirement is that you need to have a PASSION for motorcycles.

Our mission is to provide motorcyclists, both on and off campus, with a social network which will allow for communication between the new, novice, and experienced rider, as well as the motorcycle enthusiast. Simply put, our goal is to provide an enjoyable experience for our members.

There will be weekly group rides once the season begins. The club also organizes various events which include workshops, advanced training courses, road trips, and ?of course, parties!!!

Oh yea?No Bike? No Problem!!! Everybody is welcome on our rides. If you do not have a bike and wish to join us for a ride, then please send us an email so that we can find you a partner and some equipment.
