Committee Openings

Committee Openings

Life as a Student at Large is exciting. You get a vote on committees without having to run for, or sit, on AMS Council as a formal Councillor. Whether you’re into budgets, student life or advocacy, there is a committee out there for you.

To apply for any of the openings please fill out the form and submit a blurb by clicking HERE

At our committee meeting on May 9th we’ll read your blurb out loud, but strongly recommend attending the meeting too because people respond better to an actual person speaking to them over a hundred written words.

IMPORTANT: An individual can, with certain exceptions, serve on ONLY one Committee at a time as a Student at Large.

Committees’ meetings take place biweekly for approximately one hour per session.
