Advocacy Office

The Advocacy Office provides confidential assistance and representation for students involved in conflict with the University.

Externship

A partnership with the AMS Volunteer Connect Office and Alumni Affairs, the Externship Program offers students the chance to observe professionals on the job, in career fields of their interest.

Food Bank

The AMS Food Bank provides emergency food relief to current UBC students.

Health and Dental

The AMS/GSS Health & Dental covers expenses not covered by basic health care plans such as prescription drugs, dental care, travel health coverage, health practitioners, vision care, and more.

Internship

Expand your skills and resume in fields ranging from marketing and business to medicine, education, and much more!

Ombuds Office

If you feel that you have been treated unfairly or need to approach the University or AMS to resolve a conflict, the AMS Ombudsperson can assist you.

Minischool

Minischool offers a range of non-academic courses geared to the campus community, ranging from Guitar to Wine Tasting & Education to Photography.

Safewalk

Not sure where to go on campus? Traveling late at night? Afraid of going alone? Call Safewalk, a free service where a co-ed team will take you anywhere you need to go on campus. Don’t walk alone!

Sexual Assault Support Centre

Caring, non-judgmental emotional, medical, and legal support for female, male, and trans survivors of sexual assault.

Speakeasy

Speakeasy provides information, peer support, and crisis services to the UBC students and community.

Tutoring

AMS Tutoring offers FREE and Appointment Tutoring in a variety of first-year subjects, and operates a Tutor Registry.

U-Pass

Unlimited public transit access for UBC students.
