Volunteer Opportunities Fair

Note: Volunteer Registration Form (Summer 2013) requires Adobe Reader 9.1 or later

AMS Volunteer Connect, a subdivision of UBC’s Student Society, will be holding its semi-annual Volunteer Opportunities Fair again this year on March 28th, 2013. This event provides organizations with an opportunity to promote themselves to potential volunteers in the highest-traffic common area on UBC campus, seeing an estimated 5000 – 6000 students pass through daily.  A regular highlight for students, this is an indispensible opportunity for organizations to engage student talent and recruit from thousands of energetic, responsible, and motivated student leaders!  It’s also a chance for students looking to get involved to connect personally with organizations for whom they may be interested in working with.

Booths will be set up in the south concourse of the Student Union Building, the centre of student life and activity on campus. The fair will take place each day from 10:00 am to 4 pm. We request that representatives from each participating organization arrive at approximately 9:45 a.m. to set up all materials. Take-down will begin at 3:45 p.m.

The number of booths this year are limited, so we ask organizations to reply promptly and to ensure that at least one representative will be present at their booth throughout the day. Booths will not be confirmed until full payment is received.  Priority will go to organizations that are currently registered as members for the coming year. Unfortunately, refunds will not be made once we have received your confirmation and cheque except under extenuating circumstances.

This event is a yearly highlight for AMS Volunteer Connect and we are excited to help your organization ‘connect’ with the UBC student population. We hope that you will be able to join us for what is sure to be a successful week!

Please see the attached registration form for more details on reserving a booth and pricing information.
