Thank you for your interest in the program! Before you apply, please take a moment to review the eligibility criteria. In order to apply for the Externship Program you must be:
A current UBC student in 2nd year or above
Available for the duration of Reading Week 2012 (Feb 20– 24)
Available during January 13-20 for interviews
There are two portions to the application process; in order for you application to be considered you must complete both portions by the deadline of January 9th.
Part 1: Resume and Cover Letter
Please submit a copy of your most recent resume along with a Cover Letter that outlines the following:
Your Academic and Personal Goal for time at UBC
How this experience fits/aligns with your goals
Answers the Question: “Tell us your story”
These documents should be submitted as one file to internship@ams.ubc.ca with the subject line “Externship Program Application” no later than Jan. 9.
