Every year, a tremendous amount of literature (fiction, non-fiction, comics, encyclopedias, reference works, etc.) written and produced by Indigenous authors is published and distributed. UBC and its affiliated bookstore constitute a significant pole of Indigenous literature diffusion to a non-Indigenous reading audience. Although the Bookstore is already doing a fantastic job highlighting and putting forward Indigenous authors, we propose a book market at the AMS Nest that is exclusively devoted to them.
