$17.96 per hour!
Position Details:
- Position Title: Safewalker and/or Safewalk Driver
- Employee Status: Temporary, part-time until April 30, 2025
- Hours Per Week: 10-20 hours (minimum 12 hours availability or 2 shifts per week)
- Pay Rate: $17.96 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Walk or drive clients safely between points on campus.
- Maintain visibility and accountability during patrols.
- Promote Safewalk services and participate in campaigns.
- Complete necessary documentation and act professionally as an AMS representative.
Requirements:
- Must be a currently registered UBC student.
- Must be available for late-night and weekend shifts.
- Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent (mandatory for driving roles; an asset for non-drivers).
- Minimum 12 hours of weekly availability.
- Willing to submit a criminal record check.
- Mandatory training on January 8, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
