Be in an AMS Events video!

Are you currently in a long-distance relationship?

What is this video for?

The purpose of video is to share the various experiences that UBC students have with long distance relationships. This video will be posted on @amsevents_ on Instagram and @ams_ubc on TikTok.

When is filming? How long will it take? Where is it?

Filming is in-person at UBC and takes approximately 30 minutes to allow for lighting, sound check, rehearsal, warm-up, etc. If we choose to contact you, we will privately schedule a time to film.

Who can be in this video?

Students of all romantic orientations are welcome to apply – as long as:

  • You are currently in a long-distance relationship AND
  • You are a currently registered UBC student AND
  • You are available to film in-person at UBC for approximately 30 minutes on a time and date mutually agreed upon by you and our student staff

Signups close 11:59PM on Tuesday August 8th 2023. On or before 12PM on Wednesday August 9th 2023, you will receive an email from an AMS email address confirming whether or not you’ve been selected. To confirm your spot, you must return your SIGNED Image Release Form to the same email address by the specified date and time in your initial acceptance email.
