On November 6, in accordance to AMS By-law 5(3)(c), AMS Council voted to remove Vice-President Academic and University Affairs Dredyn Fontana from office, effective immediately. Please note that no further information on this decision can be provided due to privacy reasons.
Within the coming weeks, a by-election will be held to fill the vacancy. In the interim, AMS President Christian “CK” Kyle will assume the duties of the Vice-President, Academic and University Affairs, until a replacement is in place.
The AMS will ensure advocacy for students continues uninterrupted.
