Candidate Bios – VP Administration

Lokesh Sandhu

In my roles as Vice President of Multifaith club and as a Residence Advisor, I have consistently applied policies with fairness, integrity, and accountability. I have navigated the AMS systems extensively, working with its booking, renewal, and reimbursement processes to ensure smooth operations. I strongly believe that effective systems depend on transparency, consistency, and the uniform application of policies, all of which are essential for maintaining trust and organizational efficiency.

As your VP Administration, I will focus on practical improvements that students can actually feel such as:

  • Move the AMS Sustainable Action Plan from strategy to implementation by setting measurable waste
  • Set and publish clear response-time targets for bookings and club renewals so clubs know how long approvals should take
  • Launch a simple online tracking system so clubs can see the status of their booking requests instead of waiting without updates
  • Create streamlined processes and workshop plans for new club executives to easily onboard into their roles
  • Review underused areas in the Nest and increase quiet seating and bookable group study space, especially during midterms and finals
