Student Performer Sign-Up for Live at Lunch and Welcome Back BBQ

AMS Firstweek is a series of events, organized by AMS Events, occurring throughout September to welcome UBC students back to campus. Live at Lunch is part of Firstweek, aiming to platform UBC student musicians daily on a small community stage in the Nest Plaza. Click here for a 2025 Live at Lunch performance example.

AMS Welcome Back BBQ is an annual celebration, organized by AMS Events, that marks the end of Firstweek in late September. UBC students come together over food, outdoor party games, and music on a small community stage in the Nest Plaza. Click here for a 2025 Welcome Back BBQ performance example.

Apply by July 30th 2026 at 11:59PM Pacific Time for the chance to perform at this year’s Live at Lunch and/or Welcome Back BBQ.
