Running a Club

Running a successful club requires a lot of dedication and organization. There’s deadlines to meet, forms to fill out, bookings to make, members to look after, and of course, some rules to follow. It’s a big undertaking that’s not for the fainthearted, but the rewards are pretty big too. It will equip you with all sorts of skills for post-university life, connect you with like-minded individuals, and give you the chance to help mold an interest of yours to best fit the clubs’ membership.

To help you organize the year ahead and make sure your club is running as effectively as possible, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of resources. This list is extensive, so you’re likely to find what you need here, but if you don’t, get in touch with the Clubs Administrator at clubs@ams.ubc.ca
