The 2025 AMS Annual General Meeting (AGM) is your chance to help make UBC campus a better place, to learn more about your student union, and have a chance to win some great prizes*, including $500 in tuition credit. (Terms and Conditions apply, see below for eligibility).

Join us at the AMS Annual General Meeting (AGM). and you can: 

  • Hear how the AMS works and what your elected student leaders have accomplished so far this year 
  • Learn how you can get involved with student services, equity, and events 
  • Have your say on motions that shape your campus 
  • Ask questions directly to the AMS Student Executives

All students are welcome! AMS Council will attend in-person. Students are invited to join virtually on Zoom (link will be emailed closer to the date). 

Club, constituency, and resource group Presidents and Treasurers are requested to attend.

  • Only current UBC Vancouver or Affiliated Institutions students are eligible.
  • Registration is not an entry into the prize draw; you must be present at the AGM to win.
  • Quorum must be reached at the AGM to unlock bonus prizes.

All students are welcome to attend your society’s AGM, where we share the financial statements from the previous year, hear the auditor’s report, appointing next year’s auditors, and hear reports from the AMS President and Managing Director.

Every year, the AMS hosts Annual General Meetings in October to engage with students and during the meeting students will receive important updates from the AMS executives on what is happening at the AMS, then students get to directly hold their elected executives accountable to the population and voice any concerns they may have.

Join us this October 31st at 3PM on Zoom to do this very thing! We will be needing your votes to appoint our auditors for finances and give you the opportunity to hold the executives accountable after your elected student leaders give you the updates on the achievements and progress in their campaign promises.
