Line-Up Virtually with Waitwhile

To save you time and reduce the long line-ups at the Food Bank, we’ve introduced a virtual line-up system called Waitwhile. Using Waitwhile, you’ll no longer have to stand in line, instead you’ll join a virtual line-up and receive a notification when it’s your turn to use the Food Bank.  

If you’re already familar with Waitwhile, join now. Or follow these steps to get started:

Step 1: Join the Virtual Line-up

If this your first time using the Food Bank this year, please complete the Intake survey.

Join the line-up by following this link

Step 2: Enter your name, mobile phone number and email

You can select if you’d like to be notified by email or text.

Step 3: Wait. You will be notified when it’s almost to your turn

After registering, you’ll receive an email or text letting you know your position on the waitlist. Follow the link to learn how long you need to wait before heading to the Food Bank.

You can check your status anytime by following the link in the email or text.

Step 4: Head to the Food Bank when you are notified

When you receive notification that you are “Next In Line”, your turn is coming up. Please begin heading to the Food Bank.

If you will be late or like to cancel, follow the link to updated your status. You can also let us know when you’ve arrived at the Food Bank.

Step 5: Wait outside the Food Bank for your turn.

Typically you’ll be let into the Food Bank within 5 minutes
