Volunteer with Peer Support

AMS Peer Support is a free mental health and harm reduction service run by students for
students on UBC Vancouver campus. We offer free, 1-on-1, in-person mental health
support through drop-in and appointment-based support sessions. We also offer various
harm reduction services like free naloxone training, fentanyl test strips, and safer hormone
injection kits among other harm reduction supplies. Our service is run by a team of trained
student staff and volunteers. We are looking for interested volunteers to join our team
for the 2026 – 2027 year.

We are recruiting volunteers for these roles:

• Team Lead Volunteer: Deadline June 14th at 11:59PM
• Peer Support General Volunteer: Deadline June 30th at 11:59PM
• Education and Outreach General Volunteer: Deadline June 30th at 11:59PM
