Passionate about helping others succeed? AMS Tutoring is looking for dedicated UBC students to join our team as an Appointment Tutor. This is a fantastic opportunity to support fellow students, gain valuable experience, and earn competitive pay.

Positions Available

  • Appointment Tutors ($26.90/hour): Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions across various subjects and year levels, with flexible hours based on student demand. Courses Tutored:
    • Applied Science (APSC) 160, 201
    • Physics (PHYS) 118, 119, 158, 159, 170
    • Any other lower-level STEM courses are an asset

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled UBC student with a strong academic background (80%+ in the subject(s) you wish to tutor).
  • Prior tutoring experience is an asset but not required.
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping peers succeed.
