The AMS is engaged in a community consultation process to centre the voices of students. In particular we commit to hearing from students who belong to intersectional identity groups that have been historically, persistently or systemically marginalized as a result of UBC’s legacy of barriers that contribute to past, and perpetrate current inequities. These community consultations will inform the creation of the AMS Equity Plan.
If you have any questions or would like to take part in a 1-to-1 consultation with the AMS Equity Project lead you can contact Adeline Huynh at adeline@thecommonsconsulting.com or Equity and Inclusion associate at equity@ams.ubc.ca
