Save money and the environment when you borrow from the AMS Lending Library. Envision a world where the pursuit of adventure and creativity coexist with environmental sustainability and financial responsibility. This vision underlies the lending library, a groundbreaking, volunteer-led initiative here at UBC. In a global landscape marred by rampant consumerism and excessive waste, the lending library emerges as a beacon of hope; a pragmatic, affordable, and eco-conscious solution, empowering UBC students, faculty, and staff to indulge in their interests while reducing their environmental impact.
In the face of rampant consumerism and environmental concerns, the AMS Lending Library takes a more responsible and conscientious approach. By offering a low-cost, accessible and eco-friendly alternative to conventional purchasing, it’s forging a path toward a sustainable and equitable future for the UBC community.
