AMS Council is our main governing body and it makes decisions that can directly impact your time at UBC. It is made up of the members of the AMS Executive and elected representatives from each faculty, affiliated college, Senate and Board of Governors.
Council meets regularly throughout the year, usually on Wednesdays at 6 pm in the Michael Kingsmill Forum on the fourth floor of the Nest. You can attend and even sign up to speak! If you would like to make a statement to Council, please notify Joanne Pickford joannepickford@ams.ubc.ca, or show up early to the meeting and talk to the Speaker before the meeting is called to order.
